Sound done properly.
Distributed audio throughout a home, in-wall speakers in specific rooms, outdoor speakers on the deck, and commercial-grade paging systems for small businesses. Designed, wired, installed, and tuned so it actually sounds good — not the "spend a fortune on gear and hope" approach.
Good audio isn't about expensive speakers on a shelf — it's about getting sound in the right place, at the right level, with the right acoustic treatment for the room. We handle speaker placement, wiring, amplification, source selection, and on-site tuning.
For multi-room setups we use Sonos, Denon HEOS, or WiiM streamers depending on budget. For commercial and background music we prefer proper 70V distributed audio — the same systems that have been reliable in restaurants and stores for decades. We also retrofit older homes with in-wall and in-ceiling speakers when you'd rather not see the cables.

Satellite dishes & antenna installs.
TV satellite dish installation, repointing, and repair — plus off-air HD antennas for folks cutting the cord on cable subscriptions. Yes, this is still a real service that real people need, especially in rural Manitoba where cable TV isn't an option.
Whether you're on Shaw Direct, Bell Satellite TV, or an off-air antenna, location matters more than almost anything else. A dish out of alignment by 1° of azimuth can lose 30% of its signal; an antenna mounted 3 m too low can miss a distant transmitter completely.
We do full installs, repoint dishes after storms, diagnose signal issues, replace LNBs, and rewire deteriorated coax. For off-air antennas we run a site signal survey to pick the right antenna style and mount position for your reception profile.

Beyond the panel: custom automations.
Sometimes what you want your home or shop to do doesn't fit neatly inside a security panel. That's where open-platform home automation comes in — Home Assistant, Node-RED, and custom integrations that let you build exactly what you want, without being locked into one manufacturer's ecosystem.
Home Assistant is an open-source automation platform that talks to thousands of different devices — Z-Wave, Zigbee, Matter, Wi-Fi, cloud APIs — and lets you build rules, dashboards, and automations that span all of them. We deploy it on dedicated mini-server hardware (not someone's old laptop) with proper backups and remote access.
This is how you do things like: "when the garage door opens after 11pm, turn on the outside lights, send a push notification, and record 30 seconds from the driveway camera." Or integrate Home Assistant with your Ajax or Alarm.com security system so events flow both directions.
