Networks &
Connectivity.
Reliable networks for homes, cottages, and small-to-medium businesses — including the rural connectivity problems mainstream ISPs don't solve. Point-to-point links, outdoor Wi-Fi, Starlink, structured cabling, and business-grade Wi-Fi design.
Get network where cable can't go.
Got a shop across the property, a cabin on the other side of the lake, or a warehouse 800 m from the main building? A point-to-point wireless bridge sends a dedicated network link through the air — gigabit speeds, low latency, and a fraction of the cost of trenching fibre.
We install Ubiquiti airFiber, LiteBeam, and NanoBeam links using license-free 5 GHz, 24 GHz, and 60 GHz radios — chosen per site based on distance, line-of-sight, interference, and weather. Shorter hops use NanoBeam or LiteBeam 5AC; multi-kilometre links step up to airFiber for sub-millisecond latency that's indistinguishable from a wired connection.
Every link includes a path survey, signal-quality testing, and a fall-back plan so you know what happens if it degrades or goes down.
Typical use cases
- Main house to detached shop / garage
- Farm house to outbuildings, barns, riding arenas
- Cottage to boathouse / dock cameras
- Office to warehouse across a yard
- Remote staff housing / seasonal residences
- Temporary site connectivity (construction, events)
- Extending Starlink to second buildings
Wi-Fi that covers your whole property.
Your yard, your dock, your outbuildings — everywhere your phone or a camera might need a connection. We design outdoor Wi-Fi using weatherproof enterprise access points that survive Manitoba winters and provide consistent coverage across large spaces.
A typical residential router is built for two walls of coverage, not a 2-acre property. We design outdoor networks with Ubiquiti UniFi or TP-Link Omada — enterprise gear managed from a single dashboard, with VLANs to keep guest Wi-Fi, cameras, and staff devices on separate logical networks for better security and performance.
Outdoor APs mount to buildings, poles, or masts. We handle the cabling, weatherproofing, lightning arrestors, and the configuration that ties it all together.
What we design for
- Whole-property outdoor coverage
- Dock-side, boathouse, and yard Wi-Fi
- Guest / staff / IoT network separation
- Roaming between APs (no re-connecting)
- Bandwidth management & QoS
- Captive portals for retail / hospitality
- Network-wide monitoring & alerts
Rural internet, done right.
Starlink changed rural connectivity — but you still have to install it correctly, mount it where it has a clear sky view, route the cable through your building properly, and integrate it with your existing network equipment. We do all of that.
A Starlink dish is only as good as its installation. Mount it too low and trees cut out the service. Mount it in the wrong spot and snow blocks the signal every winter. We do site surveys with the Starlink app, mount the dish optimally (roof, mast, pole, or ground), run cable through a proper weatherproof entry, and configure the router to integrate with your existing mesh, APs, firewalls, or VPNs.
For businesses and critical installs we can also set up failover routing — combining Starlink with a backup LTE modem so the connection stays up even if one path goes down.
Our Starlink installs include
- Site survey for sky view & obstructions
- Optimal mounting (roof, mast, pole, or ground)
- Weatherproof cable entry & routing
- Grounding & lightning protection where needed
- Router integration with existing network gear
- Wi-Fi extension via enterprise APs
- Optional LTE failover for redundancy
- Bridge mode for prosumer routers / firewalls
Networks built to actually work.
Most small-to-medium businesses are running on consumer-grade networking gear from Best Buy — which works fine until it doesn't, and when it doesn't, your whole day stops. We design business networks that prioritize reliability, security, and the kind of visibility that lets you actually understand what's happening on your network.
-
Site survey & requirements
We walk the site, map your building, count devices and rooms, identify dead zones, and talk about what you need the network to do — not just now, but 3 years from now.
-
Network design & topology
We design the logical network: VLANs, subnets, firewall rules, wired and wireless coverage, and how everything connects. You get a diagram you can understand, not a pile of config files.
-
Structured cabling
CAT6 (or CAT6A for long runs / future 10 Gb) pulled cleanly, terminated on quality jacks and patch panels, tested with a certified cable tester. Runs to security cameras, APs, PoE devices, and workstations.
-
Install & configure
Firewalls, managed switches, wireless controllers, and APs rack- or wall-mounted, labelled, and documented. VLANs, firewall rules, and SSIDs configured. Bandwidth and failover tested from multiple locations. No rat's nest, no mystery cables.
-
Handover & ongoing support
You get network diagrams, admin credentials, device lists, and a service agreement for ongoing monitoring — or a clean hand-off if you'd rather take it from here. Your choice.
What we can do for your network.
Structured Cabling
CAT6 / CAT6A / fibre runs, terminated jacks and patch panels, proper labelling, cable-tester certified results.
Enterprise Wi-Fi Design
Multi-AP UniFi and Omada networks, site surveys, RF planning, seamless roaming, VLAN separation.
Firewalls & Security
pfSense, OPNsense, UniFi Gateway, and Ubiquiti EdgeRouter configuration. Inbound/outbound policy, VPN, threat protection.
Site-to-Site & Remote Access
WireGuard or OpenVPN links between sites or for remote staff. No third-party cloud VPN required.
Managed Switches
Gigabit and 10 Gb switching with VLANs, PoE+ for APs and cameras, link aggregation, redundancy.
Guest & IoT Networks
Separate guest Wi-Fi, camera-only network, IoT network — with strict firewall policies between them.
Network Observability
Real-time usage dashboards, alerts for device failures, bandwidth anomaly detection.
Failover & Uptime
Dual-WAN configurations, LTE backup modems, UPS battery backup — so a single failure doesn't stop your day.
